A major drug enforcement sweep in Quincy last Thursday led to the arrest of 15 individuals.
Led by the Quincy Police Department, the operation included support from several law enforcement agencies to boost patrol presence across the city. The mission focused on cracking down on narcotics possession and distribution throughout Quincy and Adams County.

Authorities reported that 13 of those arrested are Quincy residents. One is from Hannibal, Missouri, and another from East St. Louis, Illinois.

Jeremy Williams, 42 – charged with possession of methamphetamine

Destiny Shoop, 29 – charged with felon in possession of a weapon, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, and armed violence
Additional arrests:

Courtny Mayfield, 26, of Hannibal, Missouri – wanted on a federal indictment for distributing over 50 grams of methamphetamine

Dartalyon Carson, of East St. Louis – charged with armed violence, felon in possession of a weapon, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, and domestic battery
The multi-agency operation included the Illinois State Police, Adams County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshals Service, Adams County State’s Attorney’s Office, U.S. Attorney’s Office in Springfield, and the West Central Illinois Task Force.
