While real estate, landlord and developer interests have dumped more than $800,000 into the fight against tenants’ rights in Sacramento, the people are fighting back, with labor at the helm. Led by nearly $200,000 in contributions from SEIU Local 1021, tenants have just under a quarter of a million dollars to work with in their fight against deep-pocketed real estate interests, landlords and developers.
