The VOICES: podcast – episode 5

Residents of Land Park took a heavy-handed response to the presence of our neighbors experiencing homelessness, leading area activist Hannah Williams to stir up quite the social media hubbub to call it out. Williams joins us to chat about her experiences getting written up in The Bee for hassling “bourgeois snitches” and how we can all do a little bit better for our neighbors. We’re also joined by Kenna Cook to talk about sexual health and more. Plus: Dave Kempa’s been at the scene of what may be the most important Sacramento lawsuit in years. All this and not that much more!

Intro, outro and interstitial music provided by Ani Maul, whose new EP “Anxiety” can and should be checked out here.
